Shimateku Inc. (hereinafter referred to as “the Company”) establishes the following “Tokutsum Privacy Policy” (hereinafter referred to as “this Policy”) regarding the handling of user information, including personal information, in “Tokutsum” (hereinafter referred to as “this App”) provided by the Company.
Content and Purpose of Customer Personal Data Acquisition
A. Data Created and Provided by Customers While Using the App
- 1. User-specified nickname, age group, and residential area
- These values do not need to be your real name, actual age, or residential area unless you choose to specify them. They are displayed as identifiers in the main good deeds sharing feature.
- 2. Practice and good deeds data recorded by users
- Data recorded in this app: Meditation time, good deeds records, practice experiences, karma points
- Purpose of use in this app: To promote spiritual growth by displaying practice progress and good deeds history
- 3. Comments and images posted by users
- Refers to content posted by users in the community feature.
B. Information Acquired by the Company
- 1. Device information of smartphones and other devices with the app installed (device identifiers, model, OS version, usage logs, cookie information, etc.)
- For improving the app's services
Purpose of Processing Personal Data
The Company collects and uses personal information only for the following purposes and within their scope.
The Company's collection and use of personal information is based on voluntary provision by customers. When customers provide personal information, they consent to the Company's use of personal information in accordance with this Policy.
- • Inquiries, confirmations, and opinion collection necessary for business operations and service improvement

- • Managing practice and good deeds records and providing community features
- • Providing afterlife prediction and karma analysis features
Disclosure of Personal Data
The Company will not disclose or provide personal information to third parties without obtaining prior consent from the individual, except for legitimate reasons such as legal requirements.
Security System for Acquired Data
The Company may provide some personal information to external contractors for business operations such as providing services to customers. In such cases, we will ensure that the contractors handle personal information appropriately.
Personal Data Retention Period
• All data acquired by the Company as listed in “Content and Purpose of Customer Personal Data Acquisition” will be deleted upon user request (through in-app features or other means of communication).
• All customer personal data will be deleted when the account is deleted.
• Personal data of customers with no access history for one year will be automatically deleted.
Data Deletion Request
Data deletion requests can be made from within the app.
Please go to: Main screen → Personal settings (top right button) → Account deletion button.
This operation will delete everything, including account information and acquired practice data. Deleted data cannot be recovered.
For other deletion requests that cannot be handled by the app's features, please request through the contact form.
