This Privacy Policy explains how Shimateku Inc. ("we") handles information in the mobile game "Onsen Warlords" (the "App") and on this website. This is a translation of the Japanese version; if there is any conflict, the Japanese version prevails.
1. Information we collect
The App does not ask for your name, email address, phone number, or postal address. We and the services we use collect the following. For information you give us when you contact us, see section 10.

The App does not access your camera, microphone, photos, contacts, or precise location.
2. How we use information
- To store and restore your save data, including transfers to a new device
- To provide weekly rankings and battles against other inns (shadow battles)
- To detect cheating, and to investigate and fix bugs
- To serve and measure ads and prevent ad fraud
- To respond to your inquiries
3. Information shown to other players
Your inn name, battle record, and defense party are shown to other players in the rankings and shadow battles. Please do not include personal information such as your real name or contact details in your inn name.
4. Third-party services
The App uses the following services provided by Google LLC. Their handling of information is governed by their own policies.

Except as required by law, we do not provide your information to any other third party. We do not sell your information.
Google LLC is based in the United States, and information may be stored and processed on servers in the United States and other countries.
5. Advertising and tracking
The App shows rewarded video ads (only when you tap a button to watch one) and banner ads at the bottom of some screens.
- iOS: The App may ask for permission to personalize ads (App Tracking Transparency). You can use every feature of the App without allowing it, and you can change this at any time in Settings > Privacy & Security > Tracking.
- Android: You can delete your Advertising ID or opt out of personalized ads in your device's Settings > Google (or Privacy) > Ads.
- In the European Economic Area, the UK, and Switzerland, the App shows an ad consent screen at launch.
6. Retention and deletion
We keep your game data until you delete it. You can delete it in the App under Settings > "Delete Save". If your account is linked, this deletes your server-side account, save data, battle records, and defense party, and revokes the Sign in with Apple link. If your account is not linked, your save data is reset to its initial state; to have your server-side battle records and defense party deleted, please contact us as described below.
If you have already uninstalled the App, you can request deletion as described on our Support page.
However, finalized rankings from past weeks keep your inn name and record. Crash data and advertising data are retained for the periods set by Google.
7. Security
All communication is encrypted (HTTPS). Server-side save data can only be read or written with your own credentials (rankings are publicly viewable).
8. Children
The App is not directed at children under 13. If we learn that we have collected information from a child under 13, we will delete it promptly.
9. Your rights
You may request access to, correction of, suspension of use of, or deletion of your information, as provided by applicable law. Please contact us below. To identify your inn, we may ask for your inn name, your device type (iPhone / Android), and roughly when you started playing.
If you live in the European Economic Area or the UK, you have rights under the GDPR and similar laws to access, rectify, erase, restrict processing of, and port your data, to object to processing, and to lodge a complaint with a supervisory authority. We process data needed to provide the game on the basis of contract, bug investigation on the basis of legitimate interests, and personalized advertising on the basis of consent.
10. This website
This website uses Google Analytics, provided by Google LLC, to understand how the site is used. Google Analytics uses cookies and similar technologies to send information such as the pages you view, your device and browser information, and your IP address to Google. The information is handled under Google's policies (How Google uses information from sites or apps that use its services). You can disable collection with the Google Analytics Opt-out Browser Add-on.
This website loads Google Fonts, which sends your IP address and similar information to Google.
The contact form on this website asks for your name, email address, and message. This information is received by us through Google Forms and is used only to respond to your inquiry.
11. Changes
We will announce changes to this policy on this page, and in the App for significant changes.
